A distinguished innovator, Dr. Hatcher is dedicated to bringing his groundbreaking solution to market, to solve chronic risk typically associated with semiconductors manufactured on mature nodes.

Brian Hoerl

Chief Growth Officer & Founder

Brian Hoerl is the co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer of Phoenix Semiconductor, guiding the go-to-market strategy and building a foundation of operational excellence. 

Brian brings a wealth of experience in sales, business development, and executive management, and has been a leader in the OEM industry for over 30 years.

Norm Malnak

Chief Operating Officer

With over 30 years of management within the aerospace & defense industry, Norm Malnak will serve as Phoenix Semiconductor’s Chief Operations Officer. In this role Mr. Malnak will lead the company’s efforts in connecting with strategic production  partners, leveraging his expertise of the manufacturing ecosystem, connecting with channel partners on the go-to-market strategy and managing engineering talent.

Iain Mackie serves at Phoenix Semiconductor’s Chief Technology Officer, where his depth of knowledge in digital computing architectures, semiconductors and microelectronics will lead Phoenix’s technical approach.

Marco Davila

Vice President, Technology and Product Engineering

Marco Davila will serve as the Vice President of Technology and Product Engineering guiding the technical direction and development for Phoenix’s core offerings.  In this role Mr. Davila will lead an engineering team that will execute on the company’s vision and mission to serve the end customer.

 

• Multiple leadership roles at Xilinx and AMD, including Principal Staff SFAE, System IO & RF focused on Wireless & Wired Communications, Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, and Test & Measurement Units.
• Department Manager – Systems Design Engineering; AMD lead the development of specialized hardware geared towards validating and improving the quality of server CPU and GPU silicon.
• Department Manager – Digital Design Engineering; Raytheon RVS lead the development of specialized hardware geared towards validating and improving the quality of our IR and ROIC silicon.
